It sucks so bad that my financial situation is really bad right now that I can't even afford to buy things that I would normally purchase without no problem. It's like every week I have something t pay off and only $20 to $40 for the week if I'm lucky.

When a friend clearly has a problem that you are enjoying life and they aren't then there is a problem. When a friend simply can't be happy for you just because it's not them, then there is a problem. A friend shouldn't hold your happiness against you. Even if they want that happiness for themselves.

Am I a bad friend if I'm not comforting a friend when they are down when I know there is nothing I can say to make them feel better? I feel that if I were to say something it wouuldn't sound genuine and thus making the person feel like I really don't give a shit. Should I just let them deal with their issues on their own?
